This is the second to last out of my lookbook posts! This orange silk top from Shoppalu (which was on sale at STYLE/STALK but appears to be sold out - don't worry though, tons of other great blouses still on sale!) was such a perfect piece for the point in the summer that I shot it. It had been absolutely steamy hot outside and every day was basically a challenge to figure out how to dress in a way that wouldn't melt you down by noon. This top's light weave and punchy colour made it perfect for that. I've always been someone who prefers heat over cold, but I think I really acclimatized to the ridiculous summer heat here way too much because since it's started cooling down, I find I wake up in the middle of the night shaking almost every other night (and then I throw a cashmere sweater on). Freakyyyy.
