Hola!! My first official outfit post since returning to Vancouver and it's...pink. I don't know what it was about yesterday but I was really just feeling the blush tones, I actually ended up changing into a pink maxi for drinks later on at night as well!
So being back home has been a mixed bag of emotions...I'm happy to be by the ocean, to see my friends, to spend time with my family and to snuggle my puppy of course, but being in between gigs is never fun and I've felt ever so slightly lost since coming home. I really hope something pans out soon, but it feels like timing-wise, I may be job hunting during a bit of a lull for a lot of publications or companies. If anyone knows of anything...tell me! I need all the help I can get!
On the other hand, having a little break from work isn't always a bad thing...for one, I actually have the time to catch up on all my favourite blogs finally. And I also have all this time to do little bike trips around town or to go up to my cabin and relax. Aaaaand I have time to finally reorganize all the things that I let build up over the past few months (my desktop in particular was just disgusting, completely covered in icons). But at any rate, please still send your Alex-will-soon-be-happily-employed vibes my way :)

I'm sure you'll find something soon! I was in the exact same position last month when I finished up at Yale and moved back to Edmonton and was unemployed for July and most of August but I just applied my ass off and something finally came through. Hang in there! Also, at least you can be happy that you look absolutely amazing in this outfit.
