This is another one of the looks that I styled for the STYLE/STALK and Shoppalu sale I took part in! This poncho was actually one of my favourite pieces out of the whole bunch - it was such a breezy, comfortable piece and I have a huge thing for batwings or dolman sleeves so this silhouette was pitch perfect for me.
You know how I was talking about how little time I have left of the summer in my other post earlier this week? Well I just actually looked at a calendar and it's even less time than I thought...TWO WEEKS starting tomorrow! Aaaagh why!! I'll definitely be making the most of the little time I have left though...Matt and I are going to Niagara Falls later this week, one of my best friends is coming for a visit and we have lots of beach and pool plans in the making. I'm a huge summer person as it is but the fact that we're finally reaching the conclusion of my first summer out East (well okay, Central Canada, but out east relative to Vancouver) makes it all the more bittersweet to be moving into fall.

That poncho does look very cozy, but I have to admit, it's the sunnies that I'm really falling for in this look. Urban Outfitters always has the best styles in the summer and these ones suit you so well! As for summer... Well, it's flying, you're right. But I'm pretty okay with that, knowing what's coming up for me at the end ;) Still, I don't have a lot of time for summer fun. I've been spending most of my time packing! Miss you, girl :)

I don't even want to think about the end of the summer - I have the feeling it only just started! Though I have to admit, slowly but surely I start looking forward to fall fashion (jewel tones! yes!).

My plans include heading to the beach (still haven't gone!) and going on a mini getaway to Bowen Island for my wedding anniversary.
