  A comfy casual look for a dinner out: my favourite chunky men's knit (like literally an XL out of the H&M men's department), comfortable but chic pumps, a simple tank and my new favourite jeans, aka these brand-new Ace skinnies from Fidelity Denim. I always get a bit nervous about getting deim that I haven't had a chance to try on beforehand since my hourglass proportions can make for a weird fit at times (gaping at the waist while stretching far too tightly across my butt), but the second I slipped these skinnies on they were perfection. Aside from the fit, the denim itself is absolutely amazing quality too - thick, stretchy and so comfy. Can't wait to wear these on repeat now that the temperature has dropped!

I also layered on a couple new pieces from KV BIJOU, including the Arie turquoise bracelet (which I worked into a little silver arm party) and the Teardrop necklace in turquoise, which I layered over my Grace necklace. I'm such a huge fan of Kelsey's femme and wearable designs, and what's more, she's really a pretty inspiring local success story: you can spot the beautiful pieces that she makes in her studio in Abbotsford, B.C. on everyone from the starlets of Pretty Little Liars to models like Sessilee Lopez, and the demand for her pieces is really only growing. Go homegrown talent!

Thanks so much for the great feedback to my Q's in yesterday's post. I'm happy to say that thanks in huge part to your encouragement, I'll be looking into doing some videos soon! I want to make sure I have the right software and familiarize myself with filming again first (thanks to Effie, my amazing broadcast instructor in j-school last year, for giving me most of my skills already), but hopefully soon enough it can be a weekly feature!
