This look is the polar opposite of my warm-toned, spicy colour palette earlier this week: this outfit is all about neutrals, especially grey tones with touches of silver and black. I got a beautiful little care package from the Gap-Banana Republic-Old Navy Canada family last week and have been steadily working my way through the whole thing. This maxi dress is one of my favourite pieces so far! I love how easily it transitions into a fall look thanks to its smokey grey tone.

Have been having an amazing week so far, full of great meetings and exciting new opportunities. Come tomorrow afternoon, I'll also be making the trek to my cabin for our Canadian Thanksgiving festivities - can't wait for fun times and relaxation, minus the usual requisite wine-sipping. It's day 3 of the Whole30 so far - if any of you happen to have any tummy troubles like I've suffered from for years, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. It's still pretty early, but I feel like I'm finally figuring out what my body functions off of best and what it rejects, and as most of my loved ones know, tackling this particular issue is so long overdue for me! At the very least, it's teaching me the dietary sensitivities that I might need to regulate a bit more in the future.
