Modern Holly Golightly

If any of you have been regular readers of mine for awhile now, you're probably already aware of the fact that I don't do much when it comes to makeup. A bold lip here and there but really, that's it. Having said that, when I do like to amp it up a bit in the beauty department, I always look to retro beauty icons like Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly for inspiration.

I've always been especially fond of Audrey Hepburn's elegant and effortless makeup during her turn as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's - it obviously goes without saying that when it comes to that movie, the whole thing is timeless style that resonates across generations across the board.

Anyway, I'm all about keeping things simple for day-to-day ease, so this is definitely a condensed and much more casual version of classic Holly Golightly glamour - hope you find something that you can work into your makeup routine at some point or another!
