Happy New Year's Eve everyone! I'm off to a house party tonight, which is usually my moda operandi for most NYE.
Since I'd look pretty ridiculous if I was dripping in go-to sequins and sparkle, I decided to keep the core of my look basic (bustier + wool skirt) and really focus on layering on the gold jewelry! Even for big events, I usually like to keep my hair and makeup pretty natural, so air-dried hair like it is here or loose curls will probably be how I style it for tonight. A berry lip and smudged liner and I'm good to toast in 2013 looking chic but not over-the-top for a casual party!
Love the bustier top. This is a great house party look. This is actually my first NYE that I'm not going out in the city....instead spending it at my friend's apartment and having a small NYE bash. I'm def. looking forward to a more relaxing and fun environment then trying to fight through a crazy crowd to get to the bar, wait on line for a bathroom, and having to worry about traveling.

I have to echo Cee's comments. My hair does not look like that EVER air dried. In fact i'd either look like a poodle or a drowned rat...my hair has a mind of its own. I love this look. Classy, chic, understated but stunning and hugs you in all the right places.
