Notice anything different?!? Like, say, the absence of a big huge coat or 10 layered sweaters? While it's taken its sweet time getting here, it's definitely finally beginning to feel like spring. On Tuesday I met up with Alicia (who snapped these pics, thanks girl!) after work and to my own amazement, this new Left on Houston cardigan sufficed warmth-wise! In all honesty I did get chilly once the sun began to set (it was golden hour right around when we shot these) but I think we all deserve one over-excited scantily-clad jaunt, right? It's been a long winter.
I loved the juxtaposition of these distressed coated Twiggy skinnies from James Jeans with the flowy cardigan. Femme heels softened the whole look while my favourite sage-toned Brixton hat gave some much-needed colour to the black-and-white outfit. I'm in serious love with all of my new James Jeans spring pieces FYI, can't wait to roll out more looks with them - can not stress enough how insanely comfortable all their jeans are, not to mention how well they wear over the years. Favourite denim brand hands down (this isn't a sponsored post PS, I just honestly really love them!).
Oh and hey guess what? Today's the last day of winter!!! I'm going to completely soak in the first day of spring tomorrow with a nice long run and maybe even a drink on our rooftop patio (it will be freezing, but whatevs, have to celebrate). Will be back on Friday with the last in my Blogging 101: Ask the Expert photography series with my girl Ainsley Rose! If you want to catch up beforehand, see Jamie Lauren's here and Christie Graham's here.
And last thing - today's your last chance to enter my Tieks giveaway, so do so here before it's too late! Happy Wednesday everyone!
