Aaaagh I can’t believe it’s Friday already! I am officially one week from heading back home to Vancouver to see my fam, dog, friends and city. I have so much to do in the next week, it’s a bit ridiculous, but transitions are always pretty packed!
Anyway, the lovely peacock feather nail art I’m sporting here is thanks to the new China Glaze nail apps from Nail Polish Canada. To be completely honest, before putting them on I wasn’t exactly sure how I felt about them: I liked nail art and all, but I was worried these would be like stickers and peel off within a day. Well, any reservations I had about them quickly dissipated because they feel and look like real nail polish on, there’s zero dry time, they are easy to apply, boast adorable designs and last but definitely not least, they have staying power! I’ve had mine on for five days now and no chipping/flaking at all. I’m absolutely horrendous with manicure maintenance so I have a feeling these may be my new go-to’s from now on, especially after receiving tons of compliments over the span of the week (and anyone who knows me well knows how susceptible I am to praise). These adorable lace shorts from Foster Bay have quickly become staples too: I wore them obsessively when I was at Osheaga. Comfy and feminine…win-win!

This weekend I’m really intent on getting to all the things I’ve loved most about the city since I won’t be back right away…the pool, the market, Distillery District, etc. I am going to hopefully fill the weekend to its brim with all my Toronto faves.
