These pics were snapped in our sun-soaked property on the Sunshine Coast during this past long weekend – already has me missing all the relaxing, wine-sipping and sun-soaking we got to enjoy all weekend long! Oh well, back to real life. At least this stunning Vamastyle dress is a little keepsake of a great weekend that could easily be reworked into a more cold-weather-apropos look – just a lightweight sweater and some booties and the dress would work perfectly for this weird transitional weather we’ve been having beginning, well, today.
As much as I’m already missing our little weekend jaunt out of town, it was just the right amount of R&R to feel refreshed and ready for our short (yay!) week. If any of you have been following my blog for awhile then you’ll know my one really nagging general wellbeing issue has been sleep, or lack thereof to be more accurate. Well, I’m very happy to report that I not only slept 8+ hours a night straight through the weekend, but I also averaged about two naps per day. This is major for me! My body usually wakes itself up after about six hours of sleep or so and I’ve been trying to retrain it for years – who knows, maybe the sea air!
