I’m so proud to wear this shirt from La Notte by Aritzia in support of the Cause We Care Foundation, a local charity run by women for women providing much-needed support and aid to local single mother households. Especially with the holiday season fast approaching, it’s so important to show support and reach out to those that might need a bit of support. Proceeds from the purchase of these T’s (and other cute designs in the limited edition collection!) go directly to the development of the YWCA Cause We Care House, providing safe, subsidized housing for local single mothers and their children! The T also just happened to go perfectly with this Walter Baker jacket that I can not stop myself from wearing, as well as my favourite new James Jeans skinnies. I wore a variation of this ensemble all weekend, including a particularly relaxed version on Saturday when I was not feeling 100%.
My girlfriends and I went up to Whistler for a quick stay Friday night and as always, we had an amazing time…unfortunately, all the fun (read: vodka) also translated into feeling like I was on the verge of puking for the entirety of Saturday. If you ever want to see the scariest hangover ever unfold right before your eyes, well…I’m your case study, just about each and every time. It’s a special talent of mine. At any rate, to “rest up” we went and watched The Hunger Games and hooooly, that Peeta. So obsessed. But seriously, how is this movie for children?! Have you guys seen Catching Fire yet?

Oh man, I've pretty much given up drinking because I'm always in the same boat as you the next day. If it's not puking, it's the most terrible headache of existence. So yeah, a couple beers is usually my max nowadays. Holay crap, I just re-read what I wrote and I sounds hella old!
