The one thing I look forward to most every spring is the few weeks when the cherry blossom trees completely overflow, spilling their petals onto the ground below and creating the most lovely albeit fleeting carpet to walk on. It couldn’t make for a more perfect backdrop for this petal-pink-with-an-edge look almost entirely sourced from Zara on Robson Street.
Last week, I shared some snaps of an amazing day on Robson that I got to share with Alicia, Melissa and Jen, and today is all about the fruits of our labour (and by labour I mean eating cupcakes and shopping): this spring-apropos outfit! I love the softer tones like this petal pink hue that spring is all about. To channel the pastels trend in a way that still feels true to me, adding a bit of an edge with my trusty black leather jacket helps to temper the femininity of the whole look. Also loving the pink against the more sporty vibe of this scuba dress, especially with the mesh overlay on top!
