It’s my birthday tomorrow!!! I will officially be a quarter of a century. As I mentioned in another post, this year I really want to tone down the craziness and just take it easy with some friends, so I’m looking forward to an amazing, low-key dinner tomorrow night – so excited!
I’ve worked out an amazing system with my sisters and boyfriend in terms of birthday shopping: we just go together, I pick out something and they pay for it! I know that’s how 99% of the world functions, but usually my family is big on “surprise” presents. I like this new way much better.
My little sister and I went to Forever 21 over the weekend to hunt for some good vacation wear and I immediately fell in love with this Rory Beca collaboration piece – in fact, I’m wearing it tomorrow to my little birthday dinner! I love everything about it: it’s totally classic yet the hemline and back make it a bit unique, not to mention it’s in one of my favourite colours (I swear a third of my closet is royal blue). She also threw in the gold cuff (what a generous sister)! Hooray for getting older – the profit is great and the effort is nearly non-existent.
