For this week's Style Panel challenge for FASHION Magazine, we were asked to show how to wear a bold lip in a way that corresponds to your style. Well, there isn't a single way of wearing bold lips that doesn't suit my style - it's really my only makeup go-to. I might sometimes opt for a more muted rose pink or coral, but usually it's some shade of red. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you know I'm no stranger to colour clashing a strong lip with an equally bold colour, but sometimes it's nice to tone down the outfit's hues (and it doesn't get more toned down than black and white) in order to let the lips hold the entire focus.
The black and white ensemble was also the perfect way to wear my new Cheerfully Charmed bubble necklace - love it! It's such an approachable and easy-to-wear way of working a statement necklace.

That's so funny, that's exactly what I was thinking "but she always wears bright lip sticks!" haha and you rock it so well. I'm experimenting more and more with them but still not wearing them all the time,as I'm super pale most of the time.

I LOVE classic black and whites with red lips. What's even better is that it's more of a coral shade which is so hot this summer. I need to make a stop by Shoppers Drug Mart ASAP!

It's my go-to, too, although I tend to rely on it to brighten my ensembles, rather than addng it to an already bold look :) I love that you toned down the colour in this ensemble to really let the red lip stand out. And seriously, the skirt. My love for it grows every time you wear it. Miss you!
