As '70s and almost over-the-top retro as it is, I just can't resist the temptation of wearing purple tones with mustard yellow. I love other retro-esque pairings (mustard and dark green, purple and orange, etc), but I feel like this one is particularly bright and happy for some reason. Something about mustard yellow just goes so beautifully with leopard too, and I'll take any excuse to work some animal print into a look!
How are you liking the new digs? I'm still getting used to how clean it is compared to the more colourful and busy design beforehand, but I do feel like this really lets the content speak for itself distraction-free. It also just came together so easily...my friend and amazingly talented artist Steffen Quong whipped up that header last year in 2 minutes flat so I already had it at my disposal, and my illustration by Matt's best friend Max Dunbar (who's also an insanely good comic book artist) now has a perfect home on my About page. Finally, I loved Pantone's Spring 2013 picks Grayed Jade and Emerald Green so much already, and it was such a great opportunity to work them in too! Again, let me know if any of you have any difficulties/feedback at all - I want to hear them!

Girl you are rocking that purple and yellow! I love how some of your tops come all the way down your hands and your jackets/coats stop pre-wist. I don't know why but I find that very cool!
