A friend of mine recently pointed out that I must be really happy sports-chic is going strong because it’s basically all I wear these days. So a) good burn, but b) she’s totally right and I wouldn’t have it any other way because thanks to ClassPass, I have every reason to be rocking sports-chic each and every day. ClassPass is a solution to a very obvious and costly problem – thanks to this amazing program, cross-training between all my favourite studios/fitness centres is now so easy and fun (in turn leading to more workouts and more strength!) – click through to learn more!
ClassPass gives you access to a huge selection of amazing studios and gyms, from spin favourites like Eastwood to the hardest workout I’ve ever done at Kondi Fitness. You can hit up each studio three times per month, which is actually perfect because it motivates you to cycle through all the different studios available in the city. So take last week, for example – I hit up The Dailey Method for barre, did a yoga class at Chopra Centre, did HIIT at Kondi (killer and so good!), knocked off an awesome spin class at Cadence and finished it all off with a good stretch during Hatha yoga at my favourite Semperviva studio in Granville Island. This week, I already checked off boot camp at Urban Fitness and have yoga, TRX and barre to look forward to for the rest of the week, plus a couple big hikes over the weekend to take me outside!
Now for you loyalists out there, this is what I’d say – ClassPass actually works to your advantage because even if you’re the type who likes to commit to just one studio for the sake of convenience and routine, ClassPass allows you to try out almost all the studios in the city for an amazing low rate so that you can find that one amazing studio to sign up with after your first month is up.
Can’t wait for my fellow Vancouverites to try it out! I keep meeting fellow ClassPass users in all of my different classes and it’s funny, it’s become this unexpected social thing – Vancouver in particular can feel kind of cliquey and it can feel hard to meet new people, and I’m actually starting to get to know some of the ladies I see around my hood. So much fun!
In other local news, myself and an incredible lineup of some of the city’s most amazing bloggers (all listed below!) are cleaning out our closets and selling our barely-worn or brand spanking new wares this Sunday! I won’t be at the sale because I have family visiting but I’m selling some stunning pieces (silk jumpsuits, hand-dyed maxi dresses and more!) that were either the wrong size, for photo shoots, etc – in other words, all pieces I love but just don’t have a need for, so I’m hoping some of you snatch them up and love them as they deserve to be loved!
