FNO Vancouver, Obakki, and Gyspy Market Vintage

Just some shots from different events over the past week…

I started off at Earl’s V Lounge in Yaletown on Tuesday for Fashion’s Night OUT!. The event was a fundraiser for Out in Schools, an organization that works with schools to make them safer places and combat negative stereotypes associated with homosexuality. There was a fabulous fashion show featuring a selection of pieces from The Bay’s new White Space. Unfortunately, I was too into watching the show to really take pictures, so I only managed to get this one of myself, my old roomie Lisa (remember her from here?), and Olivia from Style Struck!

Wearing: Club Monaco lace skirt and mens cashmere sweater

The fabulous Vancouver blogger Niki Blasina of A Haute Mess was one of the co-organizers, and along with the rest of her team, she deserves a big congratulations as the event was a huge success!

Thursday night I headed off to Gastown for the Obakki + Boneta event. Not only did those in attendance get a sneak peek at Obakki’s beautiful spring collection, but we also got a tour of Boneta’s new location and sipped on their delicious cocktails throughout the night.

Finally, on Friday I headed to the new pop-up shop Gypsy Market Vintage at one of Vancouver’s most beloved boutiques, One of a Few. Gypsy Market Vintage is a well-curated collection of vintage pieces as selected by Vancouver-based stylist Sarah La Greca. Absolutely in love with that black backpack in the fourth pic down…will have to visit again soon and snap it up!

As for today, I plan on doing nothing. As I write this post, I’m deep into my Sunday ritual of eating a stack of pancakes with Nutella on top. It’s the best. Then I’m gonna go for a run. Then I’m gonna eat more. And then I’m gonna nap. It should be great.

Hope you all had a great weekend my lovelies, and that this whole spring forward business doesn’t mess with your day too much!

Hi Alexandra! It's so good to see you out and about and enjoying your day with other fabulous ladies! The bags from Gypsy Market Vintage looks amazing! Thank you for the sweet note! I'm still shock to see what's happening in Japan and I hope people will do whatever they can to help each other. Pancakes with Nutella?! Yum! xoxxooo
