I often turned to the same passage in Without Reservations, a favourite travel memoir by Alice Steinbach, during my months-long journey through Europe this fall: “In the end, what adds up to a life is nothing more than the accumulation of small daily moments.” Based on my own personal experience, I don’t think truer words were ever said—whether it was the moment I sat in Paris and watched leaves softly fall from above as the seasons turned or spontaneously touring through Galway’s traditional pubs and wine haunts with a best friend, it’s not just the moments that make up a life, but truly taking the time to stop and take in these special fleeting instances as they come. I love that Prada Florale is not only a fragrance that I want to wear day in and day out, but that it captures the spirit of joie de vivre and of living in the moment.
