H&M sweater, Twenty8Twelve leather jacket, Club Monaco T, scarf & toque,
It's hard to recreate that sense of stress and exhaustion that I had last week when these pictures were snapped - myself and the rest of The Style Common ladies were in the midst of crazy hours-long days getting things set for Deck Your Closet (hence the comfy look for a busy and grey day), but now that the event has wrapped up and it feels like it was such a success, it really seems like an unnecessarily cozy/casual look for running errands in public.
That being said, it's like anything else in life - things can feel so stressful and emotionally taxing in the moment but more often than not, when you look back on things, they're usually overall quite positive. Anyway, thank you SO much to everyone who came out yesterday! We all had an amazing time and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. Will be sharing images of the day with you as we receive them :)
One thing last week that was a bit of a godsend were these "touchy" gloves from Etre - with the index finger and thumb free for smart phone and camera use, it cut a lot of that tugging-gloves-on-and-off time out. As usual with Etre, I love the quality and softness of the wool too - all their products are fast becoming winter staples for me!

so beautiful! love that hat :)

I adore this outfit! I have a question about the boots. It doesn't rain a lot where I live but I really want some. Is it ok to wear them even if its not raining?
