I often take for granted how beautiful a city Vancouver is, but this October, it’s been impossible to not feel completely awestruck by the beauty of the West Coast. I know we’ll have months upon months of rain to look forward to soon enough, but for now, we’ve been treated to the most amazing sunshine, blue skies, sunsets and vibrant fall leaves. I know I’m starting to border on cheesy here but seriously, all the natural beauty around me has been really and truly uplifting.
Last night’s sunset was particularly moving – I’d just wrapped up a heartfelt Thanksgiving with the family (and as noted a couple days ago, was beginning to finally feel a bit better after focusing on gratitude), my new design went up yesterday and I’ve been blown away by the most amazing feedback/comments from everyone, and then on a little post-work walk last night on the Seawall, I was treated to that stunning view in the third pic above. I know this is reaching a bit, but at the time, it just felt like a bit of a reward for staying as strong as I could throughout one of the more tough weeks I’ve ever experienced. The burnished bronzes, reds and golds also happened to make for a perfect backdrop to what was decidedly a very bundled-up, autumnal look. I’m perpetually cold even in the middle of the summer so now that the temperatures have dipped, I’m in scarves and hats full-stop from this point forward! I’ve honestly been living in this Zara scarf, am already planning on investing in another one in a different colour!
And speaking of which, if you’re in the Greater Vancouver area and you haven’t entered my fourth and final Fall For Robson giveaway…today’s your last chance! $100 to Robson Street‘s Zara could be yours! Just think…so many scarves…
Good luck everyone and again, thank you for all the lovely comments yesterday in regards to the new design! So happy you all seem to love it as much as I do!

Nothing like a item of clothing that also doubles as a blanket 🙂 I did my own variation of this cozy look in my blog post this past Monday! Lovely pics!

Ahhhh girl! So much to gush about! I love a good chunky knit, you look like you're from Paris, I love Granville Island and that sunset is amazing. ALSO, congrats on the new design, it is clean and crisp and easy to use; you should be proud!
